Nighttime In Your Cage
Being locked by your key holder certainly has many thrills. However, at the end of the day one still needs to get some sleep. One of biggest adjustments of being locked is nighttime sleeping. If you are used to sleeping on your stomach you will need to adjust to sleeping on your side or back. With the option of stomach sleeping gone, you will adjust and do it rather quickly. Here are three tips to help you get through the night.
Use Chafing Cream or Lubricant
The chastity cage has a ring with your testicles pulled through it. This keeps your skin in constant contact with the ring. At times a little friction can build up. Using non-chaffing cream like Butt’R can go a long way in making your parts feel free to move around. Let’s get one thing clear- Chastity is not meant to be discomforting. If you have an irritation tell your key holder so she can unlock you and allow an inspection of the area. If it needs to heal, let it heal. A minor abrasion will heal up quickly by use of chafing cream or removing any discomfort.
For those just starting out, it may take a couple of weeks for the skin to adjust to the ring and cage. This is all perfectly normal. If the cage is fitted properly then you will adjust quickly. It is not uncommon at first to use cream two to three times a day . During my first weeks (and months) under lock and key it was a nighttime ritual to butter up before bed. Chastity may add some new rituals to your day. Butt’R has been a daily use product for me, even now with 100 plus days in lock-up under my belt, I still use it. I tend to use much less than I did starting out. Still, it helps a lot.
Try Using a Knee Pillow
My wife uses a knee pillow. She was kind enough to get me one when we started chastity. It made a big difference for my first month locked. The cage shifts how your testicles move around. They do not easily move around when unlocked. When you lay on your side they now have a tendency to stay between your legs because the cage keeps them pushed back. The knee pillow elevates your thigh up on the pillow and this allows your testicles to sit where they are and not be squished by your thigh weighing down on it.

The good news is that they are relatively inexpensive, easy to use, and readily available. The one I use has a cooling gel so it even helps keep my legs cool.
Set a Sleep Intention
One thing we often overlook is that we can program ourselves at night. Our minds are much more suggestive around the sleep state. We are most open to suggestion right at the time we are drifting off in bed. Set an intention to get a great nights sleep right before you fall asleep. You may say, “tonight I will sleep well and wake up feeling refreshed”. Or you could say, “tonight I will have a healing dream and wake up feeling better both mentally and physically”.
Our minds are our most powerful tool for creation and solving challenges. Your ability to process change happens in the sleep state. Chastity can represent a big change. I know it did for me. Sometimes I was so worked up it was hard to fall asleep. I noticed when I became more intentional I began sleeping better. Set a mental intention to help with the non-physical aspects of chastity like dealing with frustration or increased energy or the psychological effect of being in constant denial.
A Good Night Sleep
Chastity is fun and exciting. Your key holder wants you locked and also well rested. A good night sleep goes along way to recharging you both mentally and physically. If you are not sleeping optimally try one the suggestions above to get that great night sleep. Sleeping in a cage should not be uncomfortable. This is your time to rest upon from a long day of being teased and denied. You’ll need your strength during your locked period. And the better you do at it, the longer your key holder will want to keep you locked.
