What is Loctober?
As October approaches again this year, it is time again to consider making it a Locktober month. For those who don’t know, Loctober is a male chastity challenge that places the male locked up for 31 days. That’s right, the whole month without an orgasm for him. While it may seem silly, it can be a fun way to promote the chastity lifestyle. It rolls easy off the tongue easy and it’s fun to say.
Loctober As An Ice Breaker
For most people, male chastity is one of those topics that can be hard to bring up in your relationship. Why is that? Well, because locking the penis up and having the woman own the key is not the norm in our western society or any society for that matter that I am aware of. In bringing up male chastity whether as a woman or a man you are going out on a ledge, you may get the hairy eyeball look from your partner. Why not use Locktober as an ice breaker?
It’s kind of funny, right. It sounds funny to me. In talking with your partner, you can bring up the subject. For example, “have you ever heard of Loctober? I was reading an article and someone was talking about it. It is a curious subject. The male has his penis locked for the entire month, and the female controls the key. Sounds crazy right?”
You get the idea. Then you can gauge your partner’s response. This does two things. First, it brings up the topic of male chastity and it also provides a duration to be in chastity. While as casual as it may seem, it can prime the pump for a future October to turn into Loctober. My wife thought it was a silly thing when I brought it up the first time. However, when we started introducing male chastity she quickly remembered the month of October and was happy to enforce Loctober. Game on!
Ready, Set, Lock- Are you ready for Loctober?
If you are new to male chastity or still letting the idea ruminate in your mind, you and your partner are probably not ready for Loctober this year. And that is perfectly fine. Male chastity works best when you are both on board and ready to go on the journey together.
If you are in a female led relationship and things are progressing, then you may be in a position to bring it up with some interest from your partner. Remember, Loctober will come again and International Male Chastity Day is on Jan. 14th each year. That will be another opportunity to lock it up for a month.
