One of the best ways to understand each others needs is to get together regularly and discuss them. When starting out in a female led relationship it can be a benefit to sit down and go through what is going on each week.
Focusing On Her Needs In FLR
When doing your weekly meetings, make sure they focus on addressing her needs. One way to do it is to first focus on her needs, then on her wants, and then address any conflicts that will get in the way.
This is a good time for the man to check in and see how he is progressing in the relationship. Is she happy withy what he is doing? What things need improved? For the women providing feedback to male is also important. One other suggestion, is that the meetings also allow a “Safe Space”. Relationship elements can be discussed openly and honestly. For the man, it can be a vulnerable act to talk about their feelings.
To keep continuity, it is best to finds a time that will work each week for each person. Once you have 5-6 weeks under your belt of doing these, you’ll see how beneficial they can be. The meetings do a few things in particular.
